Congressman Mfume Statement on Trump's Iran Threats

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kweisi Mfume (MD-07) issued the following statement regarding President Trump's dangerous and escalatory rhetoric towards Iran posted on Truth Social today: 

"The President's obscenity laden threat to destroy Iranian civilization as we know it is a brazen, illegal threat against innocent civilians and it would clearly constitute grounds for war crimes charges against the President," said Congressman Kweisi Mfume. "Donald Trump needs to immediately lower the temperature on his inflammatory cowboy rhetoric."
