BALTIMORE – The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) has announced that the Inauguration Ceremony on Monday, January 20, 2025, has been relocated indoors at the request of the President-elect.
As a result of this change, tickets not seated in sections 3 or 4 will now be considered commemorative and will not grant access to the ceremony itself. If your tickets are not in the seated sections 3 or 4, they are commemorative and will not grant access to the Inauguration according to the JCCIC. We understand this news may be disappointing, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused by the decision to change the Inauguration plans at this hour.
While this adjustment limits in-person attendance, the commemorative tickets remain a meaningful keepsake to mark this historic occasion. Additionally, the inauguration ceremony will be broadcast live, allowing you to still take part in witnessing this significant event from the comfort of your home.
Thank you for working with the Office of Congressman Kweisi Mfume on this matter. This turn of events was not predicted by us or a result of anything on our part.
