Congressman Kweisi Mfume Statement on Epstein Files Transparency Act Vote

November 18, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Kweisi Mfume (MD-07) issued the following statement in response to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which requires Attorney General Pam Bondi to release all documents and records in possession of the Department of Justice relating to Jeffrey Epstein, passing through the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate:

"Two months ago, I met with almost a dozen of Jeffrey Epstein's victims and I signed a discharge petition with over 200 Members of Congress calling for the full release of the Epstein files," said Congressman Kweisi Mfume.

"This month, as a senior member of the Oversight Committee, we released newly obtained files from the Epstein estate," he continued. "Tonight, here in the Congress, I was a part of the majority voting in favor of finally releasing all of the files to the public. Let the chips fall where they may!"
