Each year a nation-wide middle and high school coding and computer science challenge is hosted by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The Congressional App Challenge sponsored by the Internet Education Foundation is a way for Members of Congress to encourage middle and high school students to learn to code and to inspire them to pursue careers in computer science.
Congressman Kweisi Mfume has submitted funding requests for important community projects in the 7th Congressional District of Maryland to the U.S. House Committee on Appropriations (“Appropriations Committee”).
