Congressman Kweisi Mfume’s Statement on the Anniversary of the Insurrection at the U.S. Capitol

WASHINGTON– Congressman Kweisi Mfume (MD-07) issued the following statement on the one year anniversary of the January 6 insurrection:

"One year ago our country's most significant symbol of democracy was desecrated by a violent and manic mob that was inspired Donald Trump. We must hold all who were responsible accountable. We can never forget the lessons of January 6th. Our democracy depends on it!"
