“With evidence that has amounted to 12,000 pages of bank records, 2,000 pages of suspicious activity reports, and hours of witness interviews to date, the only conclusion that can be made from this investigation is there has been absolutely no wrongdoing committed by President Biden. Committee Republicans continued this charade of an investigation by blocking my motion to subpoena Rudy Giuliani, whose sworn testimony under oath would have affirmed that this inquiry was built exclusively off of his and former President Trump’s lies,” said Congressman Mfume.
“What should be of the utmost importance to this Committee, and this Congress, is protecting the Americans who will be detrimentally impacted by a federal government shutdown. Alas, the extreme elements of the Republican Party have instead decided to carry out the political bidding of an indicted, twice-impeached, former President,” he concluded.
